Comcast Corporation, on Friday, lost a federal court appeal against the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) set-top converter box rules.
The company sought a waiver of exclusion from the rules that went into effect on July 1, 2007. The FCC denied the request, although they have granted approvals to other companies that offer cable services, such as Verizon Communications and smaller operators.
